Go Bears!

After an amazing 22 months, I'm proud to have graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business Executive MBA program!

Spreadsheets, marketing plans, supply chains, and demand curves were all things I expected. But it turns out, growing as a leader really means learning about yourself. At Haas, I came to understand that what I thought made me an imposter, is actually what gives me strength. Along with five semesters' worth of intense business training, this was an unexpected lesson that is already reshaping how I show up in the world.

To have shared the journey with a spectacular cohort is to have made dear friends for life. We laughed, we cried, we spoke truth to power in Washington, and we took the wrong train in Copenhagen. My classmates, and so many brilliant and dedicated faculty and staff, created a truly life-changing experience.

I'm grateful to everyone who provided support along the way, and to the friends and family who were able to gather for what was a beautiful graduation day. As Co-VP's of Philanthropy, Dennis Worden and I celebrated our class' pride and generosity with a historic class gift, bolstered by Ravinder Khaira, MD,MBA,MPH,FAAP's inspirational vision. And it was a particular honor to have been asked by the class to join Dean Ann E. Harrison, keynote speaker Richard Wilson, and valedictorian Afsheen Iftikhar on stage, as the class speaker. I'll never forget it.
