Bouncing from coast to coast! ✈️ ✈️
I recently had the privilege of traveling to Baltimore, where I led a specialized persuasive storytelling workshop for the team at Godoy Medical Forensics Incorporated (a hybrid in-person/online session), helping these healthcare professionals craft more compelling narratives and use more confident voices for their testimony on the witness stand. Always fun to call upon my arts background in moments like these—note the distinguished figures from theatre and dance in my presentation!
Meanwhile, in San Francisco, I facilitated a design thinking session with San Francisco Opera, mapping audience engagement strategies for their upcoming production of The Monkey King, a new commission. We discovered connections and uncovered gaps between programming ideas and community stakeholders, paving the way for a more cohesive and intentional strategy.
After several days of travel, I’m back home in lovely Lower Manhattan now, reflecting on both experiences with lots of gratitude. Engagements like these are super fun and productive ways to exercise two of my core consulting practices: persuasive storytelling and design thinking methodologies.
Whether it's empowering professionals to tell better stories or helping arts organizations deepen audience connections, these complementary approaches continue to demonstrate their value across industries!
